The volume of loans issued in the Tashkent city of Uzbekistan from January through November 2021 amounted to 156.7 trillion soums ($14.4 billion), Trend reports referring to the Uzbek Central Bank.
This is followed by the Tashkent region with the volume of loans in the amount of 19.6 trillion soums ($1.8 billion)
During this period, the volume of loans issued in the Samarkand region accounted for 5.9 trillion soums ($1.4 billion).
From January through November 2021, the total volume of loans issued in Uzbekistan amounted to 320.8 trillion soums ($29.6 billion), increasing by 18.5 percent compared to the same period last year (270.7 trillion soums or $25 billion)
