Uzbekistan intends to introduce a new system for stimulating investment and foreign trade activities in number of its regions,Trend reports citing the press service of the Uzbek Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade.
In this regard, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov met in Bukhara region with the heads of districts and cities of the region.
According to the ministry, the meeting was attended by heads of ministries, departments, industry associations and commercial banks, as well as heads of districts and cities of Navoi and Surkhandarya regions.
During the meeting, the introduction of a new system to stimulate investment and foreign trade activities, mechanisms for financing regional investment projects and innovative methods of project management in these regions was discussed.
