Uzbekistan increases car production

Uzbekistan has produced 14,046 cars in January, 2022,Trend reports via the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.

According to the committee, the volume of production of cars increased by 8,811 units compared to the corresponding period last year.

Previously, it was reported that Uzbekistan will reform its automotive industry by the end of 2022.

The president of Uzbekistan set the task of producing at least 160,000 cars by May 2022 to meet the needs of the domestic market.
