BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 29. The volume of Uzbekistan’s trade turnover with the CIS countries amounted to $2.5 billion from January through February 2022, which is an increase of 31.1 percent compared to the same period last year ($1.9 billion), Trend reports citing the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
From January through February 2022, exports from Uzbekistan to the CIS countries amounted to $805.5 million, while imports from these countries amounted to $1.7 billion.
During this period, trade turnover with other countries increased by 2.2 times compared to the same period of 2021 ($2.7 billion), reaching $6.2 billion.
Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover from January through February 2022 increased by 84.9 percent compared to the same period of 2021 ($4.7 billion), reaching $8.7 billion.
