BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 13. Uzbekistan and Tajikistan are expanding cooperation in the field of tourism, Trend reports via Tajik media outlets.
In this regard, more than 40 cooperation agreements have been signed between tourism companies of the two countries.
Documents on cooperation were signed within the framework of the tourism and trade forum of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, which took place recently in Khujand, the administrative center of the Sughd region (Tajikistan).
At the forum, the parties discussed the prospects for the development of regional cooperation in order to further expand mutually beneficial ties.
Representatives of travel companies from both countries also exchanged views on the affordability of prices for travel services in the post-pandemic period.
