BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 2. Epsilon Development Company LLC obtained an industrial flow of hydrocarbons, following workover and pumpjack installation at well No.9 of Ayzavat field in the Kashkadarya region of Uzbekistan, Trend reports citing the company's statement.
The flow rate of the well amounted to 60,000 cubic meters of gas and 20 tons of oil per day.
The well is already connected to the local gas transmission system to supply gas to population. All work is carried out in accordance with sanitary-epidemiological and environmental requirements.
On January 11, 2019 the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan awarded licenses to Epsilon to explore for oil and gas deposits in five investment blocks under resolution No 19. It should be noted that one of the blocks was Kultak – Kumashi investment block on which the Yangi Arik-1 field is located.
Epsilon Development Company LLC was established in 2018. The company is an independent oil and gas exploration, development, and production company operating in Uzbekistan.
