BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 26. The customs service organizations of Uzbekistan and Georgia signed a memorandum of cooperation in the training of professional personnel, Trend reports via Uzbek media outlets.
This will help to reduce time and simplify the procedure for customs clearance of goods and transport.
The document was signed during a working visit of the head of the State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan Akmalkhuja Mavlonov to Georgia.
The Uzbek delegation got acquainted with the Georgian experience in optimizing the work of the customs service.
Representatives of Uzbekistan visited the Tbilisi customs clearance zone and the vehicle clearance zone in Rustavi.
