BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 7. Uzbekistan’s Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine (AMMC) JSC has established cooperation with a number of foreign enterprises and banks, Trend reports via AMMC.

In particular, a cooperation agreement was signed with Helaba Bank (Germany). This document was signed in order to finance contracts for the provision of design work and the supply of equipment for the construction of a new sulfuric acid plant.

According to this document, the bank will provide a preferential loan in the amount of 67.3 million euros for a period of 13 years with a grace period of 3 years.

Also, an agreement was signed between AMMC and BASF concern (Germany). This document was signed for the purpose of purchasing vanadium catalysts produced by the BASF in accordance with modern requirements.

A memorandum of cooperation was signed between AMMC and the Finnish Metso Outotec company. The purpose of the document is to carry out the main engineering work for the construction of a new metallurgical complex.

Also, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between AMMC and the German Takraf GmbH company. This company will supply technological equipment for the Yoshlik mine.

In addition, the management of AMMC met with representatives of the banks Natixis (France), JPMorgan Chase & Co (US), Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen Girozentrale (Germany), KfW (Germany), Commerzbank AG (Germany), Barclays (UK), Eurasian Machinery dealer organization for the supply of technical equipment to Hitachi (Japan), Trafigura Pte Ltd (Singapore), Glencore International AG (Switzerland).
