BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 24. Uzbekistan's Uzbekneftegaz JSC has completed drilling at well No.2 of the Niyoz field (the country’s Kashqadarya region), Trend reports via the company's statement.
As a result, an industrial gas flow of 4 billion cubic meters of gas and 250,000 tons of gas condensate per day was obtained.
The Niyoz gas condensate field is located in the Guzar district of the Kashkadarya region and has been developed since 1980.
Meanwhile, gas is produced at 10 gas fields in the Shurtan Division, and the total number of wells is 273.
As a result of the work carried out, 24.3 million cubic meters of natural gas are produced per day from these fields.
