BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 27. The trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Georgia reached $16.9 million from January through February 2023, Trend reports referring to the National Statistical Committee of Georgia.

The turnover decreased by 23.8 percent, compared to the figure for the first two months of 2022 ($22.2 million).

Uzbekistan imported from Georgia goods and services worth $9.02 million (decreasing by 47.2 percent), compared to the same period in 2022 ($17.1 million).

At the same time, exports from Uzbekistan to Georgia increased by 54.9 percent and amounted to $7.9 million over $5.1 million from January through February 2022.

The trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Georgia in 2022 amounted to $160.1 million, up by 39.6 percent, compared to 2021 ($114.6 million). Export from Uzbekistan to Georgia in this period amounted to about $49 million, while imports - were $111.1 million.

Meanwhile, Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover from January through February 2023 amounted to $8.9 billion, increasing by 2 percent or $176.4 million, compared to the same period last year ($8.7 billion).
