BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 19. The large enterprises of Uzbekistan produced some 206,800 tons of diesel fuel from January through March 2023, Trend reports via Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
The output of diesel fuel increased by 45.9 percent, compared to the same period in 2022 – 141,700 tons.
From January through March 2023, Uzbekistan also increased the output of gasoline by 33.5 percent, from 288,600 tons up to 385,300 tons.
In 2022, Uzbekistan produced some 800,100 tons of diesel fuel, increasing by 5.9 percent year-on-year, while indicators for gasoline production last year reached 1.2 million tons.
Speaking about gasoline, Fergana Oil Refinery Plant (FNPZ), has been working to increase its RON fuel output. In particular, the refinery increased production of RON-80 and RON-92 gasoline by more than 50 percent in mid-December 2022.
During the last 11 months of 2022, the plant produced an average of 800 tons of RON-80 per day, while as of December 14, this figure was increased to 1,250 tons.
