BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 25. Uzbekistan's Yashil Energia (Green Energy) LLC has launched the installation of small-scale solar PV stations, Trend reports.
Following the objectives set by President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the installations aim to provide renewable energy solutions for social and government facilities, as well as other organizations across the regions of the country.
As such, a project of 50 kW solar PV station at a medical institution in the Bukinsky district of the Tashkent region, 20 kW solar PV at the Presidential School in the Akkurgan district, 100 kW solar PV at a medical facility in the city of Margilan, Fergana region, and 200 kW solar PV at the two medical institutions in Andijan, are already underway.
Yashil Energia LLC was established following presidential decree dated February 16, 2023. The company specializes in the installation and operation of renewable energy facilities for social and government entities, financed through the state budget.
This initiative by Yashil Energia contributes to the advancement of sustainable energy practices, supporting the country's efforts in reducing carbon emissions and promoting environmentally friendly power sources. The deployment of solar PV stations in key social and governmental institutions showcases Uzbekistan's commitment to green energy and the utilization of renewable resources for a cleaner and more sustainable future.
