TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, July 7. J.P. Morgan Bank has positively assessed the liquidity level of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, the national oil and gas company of Uzbekistan, Trend reports.
The issue was revealed at a meeting between the management of Uzbekneftegaz and representatives of the J.P. Morgan Chase Bank.
Initially, the bank presented a corporate analytical presentation, showcasing financial indicators and results. The foreign partners also provided information on the financial issues currently observed in the capital market and ongoing reforms.
During the meeting, the bank's representatives offered their services in trade financing for projects implemented by Uzbekneftegaz, as well as risk reduction in financial assets. The parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of financial instruments provided by the bank for joint projects.
As a result of the negotiations, representatives of the J.P. Morgan positively assessed the liquidity level of Uzbekneftegaz and expressed interest in further expanding cooperation in financing joint projects.
Earlier, Uzbekneftegaz has also obtained a positive audit report from the Ernst & Young international auditing firm for its full consolidated financial statements for the year 2022.
