BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 4. Trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Belgium amounted to 103.76 million euros from January through July 2023, which is 21.66 percent more than the same period in 2022 (84.87 million euros), a source at Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, told Trend.
Uzbekistan’s imports from Belgium amounted to 77.28 million euros, which is an increase of more than 24 percent compared to the figure for the first seven months of 2022 (58.13 million euros).
Nevetheless, the exports from Uzbekistan to Belgium decreased by 4.71 percent and amounted to 25.48 million euros over 26.74 million euros from January through July 2022.
The overall trade exchange between Uzbekistan and EU member states reached a total of more than 2.95 billion euros from January through July 2023.

As of 2022, overall trade turnover between Uzbekistan and the EU countries reached 4.61 billion euros, which is 41 percent more than in 2021, when it amounted to 2.77 billion euros.
