TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, March 26. Uzbekistan will support entrepreneurs in developing business plans, as mentioned during Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev's meeting with the governors of Namangan, Andijan, and Ferghana regions in Namangan, Trend reports.
People with craft talents will receive assistance in obtaining
supplies, equipment, and working capital.
Employees from local regions and all economic departments will
participate in the work in the local mahallas. They will examine
household potential and, for example, develop a strategy for
effectively using homestead plots to enhance revenue by 60-70
million soums ($4,768-5,622).
This procedure requires active engagement from commercial banks.
They should do everything possible to help the businesses they
serve create more jobs.
Furthermore, the untapped potential of homestead plots and
agricultural land allocated to the population for the production of
various fruits and vegetables for export, as well as the
development of animal husbandry, poultry farming, fish farming, and
beekeeping, which will improve household welfare, was
emphasized.
Meanwhile, as part of its family entrepreneurial development
programs, Uzbekistan plans to provide soft loans at a rate of 14
percent per year.
