TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, March 28. Uzum, a digital services ecosystem, will launch the first phase of Uzbekistan's largest logistics complex for online trade this summer, PR Director of Uzum Maria Skorik told Trend.

According to Maria Skorik, the total area of the complex will be about 500,000 square meters.

"The network of order delivery points in the national marketplace will grow three times within a year—up to more than 1,000 points in all settlements of Uzbekistan with a population of more than 10,000 people," she said.

The PR Director mentioned that Uzum is actively developing digital and logistics infrastructure, attracting foreign investment into the economy to maintain growth rates and launch new services as early as this year.

"The ecosystem will attract about $300 million from international funds in 2024," she added.

Uzum is a digital services ecosystem that combines a variety of services to provide a one-of-a-kind user experience to help with business growth, online shopping, simple payments, and other day-to-day household duties. The Uzum ecosystem offers the Uzbek market the following products: a marketplace with a wide range of products and one-day delivery throughout the country; fast delivery from cafes, restaurants, and groceries in Tashkent; Kapitalbank JSCB, the country's largest private commercial bank; installment service with no hidden fees, penalties, or fines; a user-friendly digital bank; and the #1 P2P service.

Uzum, offering convenient financial services and access to more than 600,000 products to the residents of the country, becomes a popularizer of online shopping, digital banking, and financial services for private users and businesses.
