TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, April 3. The share of CIS countries' exports to Uzbekistan decreased by 4.7 percent from January through February 2024, year-on-year, Trend reports.
As per data from Uzbekistan's Statistics Agency, the country's main partners in the export of goods and services during this period were Russia, China, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, France, and Afghanistan. Their share in the total volume of exports reached 42.1 percent.
Russia’s exports to Uzbekistan amounted to $493,4 million from January through February 2024. China ranks second with an export volume of $349.4 million, while Türkiye’s exports reached $171 million, followed by Kazakhstan - $166.2 million, France - $140.6 million, and Afghanistan - $128.7 million.
Meanwhile, Uzbekistan's volume of foreign trade turnover with CIS countries reached $3.2 billion from January through February 2024. Exports amounted to $1 billion, while imports were $2.1 billion.
As per data from Uzbekistan's Statistics Agency, the share of foreign trade turnover with CIS countries increased by 0.2 percent from January through February 2024 (to 32.9 percent) year-on-year.
