TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, May 23. Uzbekistan’s volume of heat energy production amounted to 10.07 million Gcal from January through April 2024, Trend reports.
The data from Uzbekistan’s Statistics Agency shows that the production volume of heat energy has decreased by 0.2 percent compared to the same period last year (10.09 million Gcal in January–April 2023).
At the same time, the country’s volume of heat energy production reached 1.4 million Gcal in April 2024 (8.6 million Gcal in January–March 2024).
Meanwhile, French Veolia Energy has installed more than 30 small heat generators in Tashkent for the needs of boiler houses.
Veolia Energy said the generators are designed to maintain the operability of the company's local boiler houses that generate thermal energy. They will ensure the uninterrupted operation of the boiler equipment in case of a power outage.
Moreover, Veolia Energy installed two generators with a total capacity of 210 kW at local boiler houses, supplying heat to the schools in Tashkent’s Almazar district.
