TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, June 1. Uzbekistan produced oil in the amount of 770,100 tons in 2023, Trend reports.
According to the data from Uzbekistan’s Statistics Agency, this indicator has decreased by 2.2 percent year-on-year (787,800 tons in 2022).
Oil production in Uzbekistan peaked in May 2023 at 69,100 tons, while the lowest value was recorded in December at 60,800 tons.

Meanwhile, Uzbekistan produced 241,300 tons of oil from January through April 2024. This indicator shows a 6.6 percent decrease over the same period last year (258,500 tons in January–April 2023).
At the same time, the country’s production of oil amounted to 62,200 tons in April 2024, compared to the previous two months (179,100 tons of oil).
