TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, June 15. The volume of Uzbekistan's trade turnover with Brazil amounted to $656.6 million in 2023, Trend reports.
As per data from Uzbekistan's Statistics Agency, this number indicates an 18.3 percent increase year-on-year ($554.6 million in 2022).
Uzbekistan's exports to Brazil amounted to $4.4 million in 2023, which is more than 266.6 percent over the year ($1.2 million in 2022).
The imports from Brazil to Uzbekistan totaled $652.2 million during this period. This figure has increased by 17.8 percent year-on-year ($553.4 million in 2022).
Meanwhile, Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover volume amounted to $62.6 billion in 2023, which is 23.9 percent higher than the previous year ($50.5 billion in 2022).
China took the top spot with a trade volume of $13.7 billion during this period. With $9.8 billion in trade turnover, Russia is in second place, just behind Kazakhstan's $4.3 billion.
