The UN chief Special Representative for Afghanistan, Kai Eide, has called his talks with Iranian officials 'positive and constructive', reported PressTv.
The constructive talks indicate that the Iranians are ready to restore peace and security in the region including Afghanistan, Eide told reporters in the Afghan capital Kabul on Thursday.
According to Eide, Iranian high-ranking officials underlined that they would support a stable Afghanistan.
The UN envoy pointed out that he discussed anti-drugs campaign, Afghan immigrants, and regional issues with Iranian officials during his two-day visit to Tehran.
