Belarus and Iran are developing successful cooperation on the international arena, Speaker of the House of Representatives of Belarus Vladimir Andreichenko said at the meeting with Foreign Minister of Iran Manouchehr Mottaki, reported Belta.
"We appreciate your support on the international arena and we support your country, too. Belarus and Iran advocate fair world order based on equitable norms and laws," Vladimir Andreichenko said.
He said that Belarus is interested in the development of cooperation with Iran within international organizations. "We hope for your support in the international organizations and in turn we will give our support to Iran," the Speaker of the House of Representatives said. According to him, Belarus and Iran have a great potential of interparliamentary cooperation. Vladimir Andreichenko added that the head of the task group for cooperation with Belarus of the Iranian parliament had recently visited Belarus.
