Eminent Iranian actress dies

Parvin Soleimani, a veteran Iranian actress who dedicated over 60 years of her life to art and cinema, died Monday at the age of 87, Press TV reported.

Soleimani was hospitalized several few months ago. She lost the long battle to respiration and heart problems.

Born in Tehran in 1922, Parvin Soleimani was an active artist in both theater and cinema.

Actor (1993), What's Up? (1992), Wilderness (1989), Beyond the Fire (1988), specter of the scorpion, (1987) and Flowers and Bullets (1991) are among her films that will be remembered by all Iranians.
