The 9th International Building & Construction Industries Exhibition will be held from July 28 to 31 at the Tehran Permanent International Fairground.
The deputy secretary-general of the Central Cooperative Chamber stated on Sunday that 820 domestic firms and 280 foreign companies will take part in the event, the Mehr News Agency reported.
Ebrahim Tehrani noted that this year the number of participant firms in the event is 40 percent more than the previous year.
United Kingdom, Italy, Finland, Austria, South Korea, China, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey and Malaysia are among the countries participating.
He added that two seminars to promote electronic commerce and industrialization in mass-construction and building will be held on the sidelines of the fair.
Tehrani thanked the Iranian foreign ministry for their cooperation in the issuance of visas, and expressed hope that such exhibitions would pave the way for non-oil exports from the country.
