Iran will send a living organism into orbit to conduct research, Chairman of the Iranian Space Research Center Mohsun Bahrami said, the Iranian Fars news agency reported.
"After launching into space the second satellite Kavush-2, we will achieve greater development in the field of artificial satellites and continue our research in this field," Bahrami said.
According to Bahrami, Iran will send into orbit a living organism (animal) to conduct various scientific researches in the next two years. "At present, we work on this program," Bahrami added.
