"Iran has produced new products in the military sphere," Iranian Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi was quoted as saying by the Mehr news agency. "Today, we have tested new Shahin air defense system."
Iran's specialists have produced Shahin air defense system and the system has been successfully tested during today's military trainings, he said.
According to Vahidi, the new defense system is capable to hit a target at medium range. The minister has not provided additional information about it.
Top M1 anti-aircraft missile system that was modernized by the specialists of the ministry and Islamic Revolution Guards Corps was successfully tested during the trainings, Fars reported.
