Trial over people who expressed disrespect to Iranian Islam Revolution will be held in Tehran's revolutionary court on Jan.3-5, Tehran's Prosecution General's Office said, İRİBNEWS reported.

According to Tehran's Prosecution General's Office, arrested people are individuals who "expressed disrespect". It is also reported that criminal cases towards seven arrested people have been submitted to the court.

"The criminal cases of several people, who commited illegal actions, will be submitted to the court in the nearest future," the report said. The investigation on criminal cases committed by arrested people in connection with the events on the Ashura Day will be completed soon. These criminal cases will be submitted to the court.

Clashes between opposition supporters and the police took place on the Ashura day Dec.27. According to Iran's police website, eight people died, including seven men and one woman. Their names have been already announced. About 300 people were arrested during these events.
