Iran has achieved significant success in many spheres, particularly in science, Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said when meeting with Iranians living in Turkmenistan, Fars reported.

Iran has achieved significant success in many spheres, particularly in science, Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejadsaid when meeting with Iranians living in Turkmenistan, Fars reported.  Iran will introduce a new generation satellite during the Decade of Fajr celebratory events dedicated to thirty-first anniversary of the Iranian Revolution, he said adding that these satellites will be launched into orbit next year.

Ahmadinejad visited Ashgabat to attend the opening ceremony of the Dovletabat-Sarakhs-Khangeran interstate gas pipeline scheduled for Jan.6, in the Mariy region of Turkmenistan.

Last year, Iran launched the first Umid satellite into orbit under in honor of the thirty-first anniversary of the Islamic Revolution. The satellite was brought into orbit by a missile of Iranian production. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad ordered the launch of the satellite into orbit.

Every year, Iran celebrates the victory of the Iranian Islamic Revolution from February 1-10 during the Decade of Fajr.
