The Iranian Media Control Group of the Iranian Culture Ministry warned 15 well-known pro-governmental and opposition newspapers in the country, MEHR reported.

The agency reported that newspapers Tehran Emrooz (Tehran Today), Bahar (Spring), Tosee (Development), Ruzan (Days), Jahan-e Igtisad (The World Economy) were warned in connection to a response to Iran Presidential Apparatus Head Rahim Mashai's letter.

On Jan. 18, several newspapers such as Ittilaat (Proceedings), Etimad (Trust), Asrar (Mysteries) and others reacted to a letter belonging to the camp of Ali Muttahari's pragmatic conservatives.

Two days later, Jan.20, few other newspapers - Arman (Value), Jhomhuri (Republic), Poole (Money) - wrote a response to the publication of an article by ex-Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran Hassan Rouhani.

These papers published articles insulting the honor and dignity of the country's president aimed at violating the country's stability.
