Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki will visit Saudi Arabia to attend a meeting of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) June 6, the ISNA reported.
Fifty-seven countries will attend the annual meeting.
The OIC was founded Sept. 25, 1969 to ensure Islamic solidarity in the society, economics and politics. Bosnia and Herzegovina, Central African Republic and Russia, as well as a number of organizations (U.N., NAM) received observer status within the OIC. The organization's headquarters are located in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia).
