Iran wants to establish a nuclear consortium with Russia, headof the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization Ali-Akbar Salehi was quoted as saying today by the IRNA news agency.
Iran hopes to use Russia's license to provide the Bushehr and other nuclear power plants with fuel.
He added that Moscow is considering the proposal.
Salehi also noted that Iran does not intend to produce nuclear fuel in-country.
"So far, we have produced 25 kilograms of 20-percent-enriched uranium," he said. "We intend to commission the first plant to produce nuclear rods in the future."
