Statements by Israeli officials on Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's visit to Lebanon will not affect his visit and the Iranian-Lebanese relations, said the spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry Ramin Mehmanparast, Mehr news agency reported.

Iranian President's visit to Lebanon is scheduled for October 13.

The Israeli Haaretz newspaper reported that in connection with Iranian President's visit to Lebanon, the Tel Aviv officials warned Lebanon that creating an opportunity for Ahmadinejad's visit is an "unwise step".

The President of Lebanon has rejected the statement by the Israeli officials, according to the information released on the official website of the Iranian news channel İrinn.ir.

Hezbollah Organization, which functions in Lebanon, is the largest military force in the country. The West considers Hezbollah a terrorist organization and states that it is backed by Iran.
