Iranian President: Arrogant Powers Collapsing
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Saturday that arrogant powers and the enemies of Iran are moving towards collapse, adding they will have to beg for Iran's assistance in the near future, Tabnak reported.
Addressing a meeting with families of martyrs, President Ahmadinejad played down the recent threatening remarks against Iran by world powers/
The president stressed that arrogant powers are unable to implement their plots against the country thanks to the sacrifices of the Iranian martyrs and their families.
"...in the near future, there will come a day when all those who have done the gravest oppressions against the Iranian nation during the past 31 years (since the victory of the Islamic Revolution) will need the support of the Iranian nation and stretch their hands out to the Iranian people and begg for their help," President Ahmadinejad said.
"Today, the picture is very clear. On the one hand, there is the Iranian nation moving on an ascending path and on the other hand, there are the arrogant, conceited and self-centered powers that are racing on a downward slope towards disgrace and humiliation," Ahmadinejad added.
