Iran exported 44,830,000 tons of non-oil goods (including gas condensates) worth $20.290 billion in the first eight months of current Iranian calendar year (ended November 21).
The amount shows 27.2 percent increase in terms of volume and 26.2 percent rise in terms of value in comparison to the same period previous year, the Islamic Republic of Iran News Network reported.
China, Iraq, and the United Arab Emirates were the main destinations for Iranian goods.
During the mentioned period Iran also imported 29,974,000 tons of goods worth $40.288 billion.
The amount shows 23.3 percent increase in terms of value and 3.3 percent rise in terms of volume in comparison to the same time span previous year.
