The representative of the road and transportation ministry in the subsidy reform executive headquarters said that for the time being there had been no directives for increasing plane and train ticket prices.
Shahriar Afendizadeh announced that air travelling officials had agreed to offer there suggestions in this regard by the end of the Iranian calendar year (March 21) or spring next year.
Meanwhile, the government has issued new fuel prices for Iranian and foreign airlines which are considerably higher than former prices.
Fuel price for domestic airlines has gone up from 150 tomans ($0.16) to 400 tomans ($0.42), and for foreign airlines it has risen from 400 ($0.42) tomans to 700 tomans ($0.74).
