A large snowfall has led to the cancellation of classes in Tehran and other provinces of Iran, including Qum, Hamadan and West Azerbaijan.
On Sunday, due to heavy snowfall and slippery roads, kindergartens, schools and vocational schools were temporarily closed down during the morning shift. Slippery roads and poor visibility led to the closure of the Tekab-Iranha highways in West Azerbaijan, Gidar-Aphar in Zendzhane, and Karaj-Chaluz and Shimshak-Dizin in the Tehran province.
If the weather conditions do not change, classes will be canceled again today.
