One is willing to buy Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's car of brand Peugeot 504, 1977 model year, which will be auctioned at an exhibition of classic cars, the ISNA news agency quoted Iranian Social Protection Minister Sadeq Mahsuli as saying.
An auction web site www.ahmadinejad-car.com was created especially for guiding the international auction. Proposal for the willingness to purchase the car for two million was sent to the site.
Earlier in November, Mahsuli said the auction is aimed at supporting the "Maskan-e Mehr" national housing construction program, which aims to solve housing problems for low-income families.
The exhibition of classic cars will be held in February in the free trade zone "Arvand" in the southwestern Khuzestan province. The Iranian President's car will be exhibited along with 70 other classic cars from different countries.
