Specialists of Malik Ajdar Iranian University have manufactured an atomic microscope capable of showing objects the size of atomic particles and molecules, Jamejamonline.ir reported.
Executive Project Manager Abbas Shahmuradi said the microscope can carry out analyses of metals, nonmetals, bacteria and viruses.
"Research work has been conducted in the project for seven years. Now we can also manufacture nanometric sensors," Shahmuradi said.
He added that the technology is available in only seven countries.
"The microscope we produced is capable of competing with foreign analogs on its work and capacity. The production costs of the microscope compared to its analogs is 50 percent less," Shahmuradi said.
