Ahmadinejad, Medvedev stress expansion of mutual ties
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev stressed expansion of mutual ties in all fields.
The two sides highlighted massive potentials of the two neighboring states and called for boosting level of cooperation.
"Iran and Russia should always be friend to each other. The Islamic Republic of Iran welcomes further cooperation in all fields," Ahmadinejad told Medvedev in a phone call.
Russian President on his part stressed his country's willingness to work closely with Iran on energy, fuel, transportation and trade, ISNA reported.
Russia is ready for any kind of cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran, he added.
