Iran called for the US to keep out of recent developments in Egypt, ISNA reported.
Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani referred to the recent remarks of the US officials on Egypt and said, "the US officials have taken different stances on Egypt and they have changed their views several times."
"You should stop interference in Egypt. Egyptians will say what kind of democracy they are looking for," he addressed the US officials.
"Do not imagine that you can deceive regional nations with equivocal words, you cannot create a form of democracy with make-up and force regional nations to accept it, so do not send envoys to the region, because you do not achieve your aims. People have been awakened and this is a worthy vigilance."
Anti-government protesters have been sparked in Egypt to oust Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak.
Egyptian officials had appealed for an end to the protests.
The 82-year-old President has remained in power for 30 years.
