Iranian scientists produced a new type of anti-prostate and lung tumor radiopharmaceuticals, Iran-Daily newspaper quotes ISNA news agency as reporting.
Bombesin Gallium-68 (68 Ga-bombesin) was produced at medical, industrial and agricultural research center located in town of Karaj affiliated to Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI).
Managing Director of Iran's Research Institute of Nuclear Science and Technology, Mohammad Ghannadi said that the country will unveil three new radiopharmaceuticals in coming days.
"We have made good progress in radiopharmaceuticals and considerable amount of the products have been prepared," he said.
