Establishment of Iran-Belarus joint chamber of commerce will promote cooperation between the two countries, said head of Iran Trade Development Organization, IRNA reported.
According to a report by the Public Relations Department of the organization, Hamid Safdel added in a meeting with the Belarusian Ambassador in Tehran Victor Ribak that the level of commercial ties between the two nations is promising.
Given the capabilities of the two countries, the level of trade exchanges should improve, he noted.
Safdel also pointed out that cooperation agreements between the two states should aim to promote bilateral ties.
Referring to the holding of the 10th Joint Commission meeting and the exclusive exhibition in near future, he also said that such programs will play a crucial role in promoting commercial ties.
Ribak, for his part, said that Iranian merchants invested some $20 billion in his country in 2010.
He also voiced his country's readiness to organize exclusive exhibitions in different Iranian provinces.
