Foreign Minister Ali-Akbar Salehi departed here for Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE), to hold bilateral talks with that country's officials and discuss the recent regional developments, IRNA reported.
A number of Iranian officials from the Majlis and Foreign Ministry as well as some staff members of the country's media are accompanying Salehi on his two-day visit to the UAE.
The UAE as a member of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (PGCC) ranks as the fourth oil producer among the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) member states.
