Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatolla Ali Khamenei in his today's speech called on media not to exaggerate the recent embezzelment case and to enable persons, who are responsible for the case, to perform their duties, IRINN TV reported.

Khamenei authorized the judiciary to inform people in due time about the process of investigation.

At the same time, the cleric urged Iranians not to feel sorry for bribe-takers, embezzlers and infringers.

Two weeks earlier, 22 suspects were arrested over the corruption case in Bank Saderat, one of Iran's major banks.

The Economy Ministry along with Bank Saderat, Bank Melli, Tat Bank and the Central Bank of were involved in the financial scandal, he added.
