Currently 38.1 percent of Iran's water reservoir is full meantime, the water output from dams increased to 200 million cubic meters, Mehr News Agency reported quoting Iran's Energy Ministry.
The volume of water reservoir from country's dams in current solar year (started on March 20, 2011) was around 18.7 billion cubic meters and compared to last year, the figures indicates 1.2 billion cubic meters increase of water reserves.
The output water from dams from Sept. 22 up to now was 700 million cubic meters and currently 38.1 percent of country's water reservoirs is full.
Recent reports indicate Iran is getting closer to water crisis. Previously officials warned drought has spread throughout the country, particularly in the central regions, increasing at a rate of 76 percent and creating serious disasters.
