Iran's visiting Majlis (Parliament) Speaker Ali Larijani and Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu held meeting behind the closed doors on Thursday, IRNA reported.
No details heave been released yet on the meeting.
Later in the day, Larijani is to hold a separate talks with his Turkish counterpart Cemil Cicek, President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan.
The Iranian and Turkish officials are to exchange views on major regional and parliamentary issues. The two sides are also planned to confer on latest developments in Palestine, Syria and Iraq.
Larijani arrived here at the head of an delegation Wednesday night. Later on Thursday, he is scheduled to attend a press conference.
