Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has criticized ill-wishers, who want to undermine national economic reform plans, saying that they aimed to reach their goals through destabilizing the foreign currency and gold markets.
Addressing people during his trip to Alborz Province, northwest of Tehran, he said the national economy is facing no specific problem, IRNA news agency reported.
He blamed a group of people who have created confusion in the market for the pretext of the dollar price rise.
The USD rate defers about 7000 rials in the official and open markets. The Iranian Central Bank set USD rate at about 12,260 rials, while it is sold at 19,300 rials in brokerage agencies.
