The situation in Iran has a tendency to deterioration. A fire can be ignited by any spark, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said today, ITAR-TASS reported.
"There is an escalation, tension increases,"he said, when asked about the possibility of a military strike on Iran. "It is very disturbing."
He urged not to launch into adventures and not to give way to emotions. "I do not want to repeat the obvious, but I have to - diplomacy is better than war, and negotiations is better than bomb
attacks," Ryabkov said, adding that the possibility for a negotiated solution has not yet been exhausted.
"Accordingly, you should not start a military confrontation, but seek
to agree" he said. "And seek more active."
