The staff of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Embassy in the Afghan capital of Kabul are safe and unharmed after the armed me attacked foreign diplomatic missions in Kabul, a spokesperson for Iranian Embassy in Kabul said.

The staff of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Embassy in the Afghan capital of Kabul are safe and unharmed after the armed me attacked foreign diplomatic missions in Kabul, a spokesperson for Iranian Embassy in Kabul said, IRNA reported.

Talking to IRNA's correspondent in Kabul, Mohammad Dehqani said that no bullet has been fired at Iran's Embassy in Kabul.

The Sunday's attack by Taliban militants took place concurrently in four other provinces, as well as the capital city of Kabul. Such attacks have been unprecedented and they were Taliban's biggest attacks since 2001.

Taliban militants attacked key spots in Kabul on Sunday afternoon and it is still continuing there.
