The $350 million Iran allocated for industrial parks last year is set to triple in the current Iranian year.

The greater funding in this year's budget (Iran's solar year ended on March 19), just passed by Iran's Majlis (parliament), means more technical help, more money for renovation and reconstruction and more money for the Investment Guarantee Fund for Small Industries, the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reports.

This year with the national slogan 'Domestic production, support for Iranian investments and jobs', the government will work to complete unfinished projects and address the problems in mining and industry, said Deputy Industry Minister Fakhrollah Molaei.

The Small Industries Organisation has identified 7000 unfinished projects and is working on their completion.
